3-D (three-dimensional) glasses provide a sense of three dimensions from viewing special two-dimensional images.

Function
3-D glasses work by presenting two slightly different perspectives of the same image.
One version of the image is in red and the other in blue making your brain form a three-dimensional image.

Types
a) - Traditional 3-D glasses have one red lens and one blue lens encased in white cardboard frames.
b) - Polarized 3-D glasses use dark lenses to restrict the passage of polarized light to the eye.
